Together with Oddwork, Motorit is looking for two Data Engineers to join a new data team and help build the foundation for how Motorit and Bilia will work with data, analytics and AI going forward.\nAbout the role\nAs a Data Engineer, you will be one of the first members of Motorit’s new Data team, working alongside a Lead Data Architect and another Data Engineer to build a modern Snowflake-based data platform from the ground up. We are looking for two Data Engineers with complementary strengths. Your expertise may lean towards Data Engineering & Platform, with a focus on pipelines, automation and CI/CD, or Data Modelling & Data Products, focusing more on modelling, harmonization and data quality. A key part of your role will be turning data from multiple systems into structured, reliable and reusable data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital applications.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nDeveloping transformations, data models and data flows using SQL, dbt and Snowflake\n\nDeveloping the platform's Silver, Business Rules and Gold layers\n\nHarmonizing data and implementing business rules, mappings and reference data\n\nBuilding data products for Customer 360, analytics, AI and digital applications\n\nDeveloping automated tests and ensuring high data quality\n\nContributing to CI/CD, observability, performance and secure handling of PII\n\nWe are looking for someone who\nHas a broad background in Data Engineering and modern data platforms and wants to use that expertise to build something new. You combine strong technical skills with curiosity about the data and the business behind it, enjoy solving complex problems and are comfortable taking ownership. You value close collaboration and a strong team culture, enjoy sharing knowledge and contributing to solutions together with others.\nExperience with Python, dbt Core, Customer 360, master/reference data, GDPR and PII, metadata and lineage, or data products for AI/ML is considered a plus. Experience building a new data platform from an early stage is also highly valuable.\nProven hands-on experience with Snowflake\n\nAt least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and modern data platforms\n\nStrong SQL skills\n\nExperience with dbt or a similar transformation framework\n\nExperience with data modelling and transforming data from multiple source systems\n\nUnderstanding of data quality, testing and production deployment\n\nExperience with Git and modern CI/CD practices\n\nUniversity degree within IT, technology or a related field\n\nAbout Motorit\nMotorit is a Swedish IT company developing digital solutions for the automotive industry, working closely with businesses across automotive, service and aftermarket.
