Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms, allowing you to run your investment firm from your phone - think Shopify for VC and PE. We handle all the infrastructure: from legal structuring and investor onboarding to KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting, and exits.

We’re already trusted by over 10,000 angels, VCs, and founders. We administer over $500m in assets, covering investments from pre-seed to series E. This includes household names like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, SpaceX, xAI, Anduril, etc. but also new companies creating everything from synthetic brains to small nuclear reactors.

Why we're hiring

• Odin is essentially automating a decades old part of the financial services industry currently run on email and spreadsheets. An extremely-AI pilled operations leaders like you are the beating heart of this plan.

• The role sits at the intersection of finance, legal, product and engineering.

• We're post-PMF, fast-growing, and rolling out new products (full service fund admin - we started in deal by deal SPVs) & geographies (USA). Customer & deal volume is climbing fast. We processed ~$500m in investment through our platform in our first 4 years, and we are on track to do the same again in 2026 alone. The operational machine behind this is still held together in many places by people and spreadsheets.

• Nobody owns the whole function today, which is what this hire is about.

• You'll inherit a team, hire seniors, and get a clear mandate to rebuild how the work gets done.

• Your job is to come in, understand every process and system, simplify, streamline and automate the shit out of it. We expect you to spend as much time in Claude Code as you do in Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, Docusign or whatever else.

• We are not solving this problem with headcount. The point of the role and the other seniors in this function is to make it leaner, faster and mostly automated.

• We believe it is possible to build a fund administrator handling trillions of dollars in AUM and hundreds of millions in annual revenue with only 50 employees.

What you'll own

• Team: Two senior operators (one with a finance and systems leaning, one legally qualified) plus the deal ops team underneath them will support you. Hiring, training, performance, and the hard calls about who's good enough ultimately sit with you.

• Systems: The operations function end to end: launching and closing investments on Odin, handling post-close governance all the way to exit, and the operating systems that run this.

• Automation: The automation roadmap. You're the person who identifies the pain, automates fixes, and brings product/engineering only into the things that genuinely need significant engineering work. Before it gets to them you’ve already made the process as simple and fast as possible

• Hard calls and high stakes: You decide what we say yes and no to when we get asks from commercial. Working with the commercial team so we only take on what's scalable, profitable and worth doing.

• You also handle high-value deals, edge cases that fit no process, escalations that need judgement rather than a playbook. You ensure they’re handled fast and we delight our customers

• Setting the bar: You set the cultural bar for the team and ensure we solve the root issues rather than putting out fires

What we're looking for

• Management experience: You've directly managed teams of 5+ for at least 3 years, including senior ICs.

• In the details and extremely on top of things: You understand every single aspect of the system end to end. You close loops, you chase, you push hard to get things done.

• You reason from first principles: Although you’re in the details and on top of execution, you also zoom out. You look at any process the way a good PM looks at a product: What's the job? Why are we doing this at all? What's the smallest, simplest system that achieves the goal?

• A lot of what happens in fund admin is inherited convention, an industry "given", or a constraint of some third party. You should find it physically difficult to accept any of that.

• AI-pilled: You've built significant operations automations with AI, and you know that the future of financial services is basically very small teams running large numbers of agents.

• Brutally Honest: We do not have time for English politeness. You tell people when their work isn't good enough and you want the same back from others.

• Big plus: prior experience in regulated financial services: Not a requirement, we care more about the traits above and

There are five things we care about deeply.

• Reason from the ground up: You’re innately curious. You understand what's true, build from that, and trust no expert by default.

• Speed begets speed: We work fast. Speed compounds, it's the best form of defensibility, and it's energising to be around. If you work slowly, or tolerate slow work around you, you do not belong at Odin.

• Take ownership: Do not wait for permission to do things. Find the answer, force the thing into existence and hold others to a high standard.

• Truly excellent customer service: Be a stickler for detail in every single interaction a customer has with us, and always strive to make this experience better

• Brutal honesty: If work doesn't meet the bar, people need to hear it, and the right people want to.

This role is probably not for you if

• You'd rather build product than operate it. Product instinct is required in this role, but a product career is not what this is;

• You prefer close management of your responsibilities;

• You are risk-averse;

• You want a 9-5;

• You take yourself too seriously;

• You want to work for a company that raises lots of VC money (status-driven) rather than one that’s extremely capital efficient and focused on building a profitable giant that has a positive economic impact (wealth-driven)

Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 base, plus a meaningful equity grant. We're flexible on the mix of cash and equity.

Three stages, usually inside two weeks, with detailed feedback within 24 hours of each one.
