# Financial Analyst

Responsible for preparing and reporting of divisional and consolidated financial statements, which includes preparing journal entries and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Also includes budgeting and forecasting of the domestic and foreign divisions. Additionally responsible for ensuring standard costs are complete, and that material variance processes are completed and communicated. NOTE: Candidates for this role are required to be based near Zeeland, MI to support a hybrid work schedule with regular onsite collaboration. Relocation assistance is not included. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for performing various month end journal entries and preparing closing reports accurately within the month end schedule. Accountable and responsible for accrual, reconciliation, and analysis of many general ledger accounts. Preparation and maintenance of selected areas in the budget and forecast. Prepare and coordinate various financial projects in the general accounting, cost accounting areas. Report significant variances on a weekly basis by investigating potential problems and devising solutions with cross functional department teams. Perform other duties as necessary in suppo
