Duties will include classroom, large group and small group instruction, course administration (director/co-director), coordination of the pathology discipline horizontally and vertically, service on school committees and active scholarship in education or community-oriented research.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, teach, and coordinate the sequencing and assessment of pathology/pathophysiology content with appropriate clinical context at the designated level of learner within various educational programs while adhering to all programmatic and institutional policies and procedures.\nProvide information and data to evaluate horizontal and vertical integration of pathology/pathophysiology and identify areas for improvement of integration (where applicable).\nProvide administrative and/or leadership support to courses/programs as assigned for the educational mission of the SOM.\nParticipate in institutional and programmatic committees and subcommittees as assigned/needed for the educational mission.\nProvide mentorship for students in the academic and/or scholarship/research setting.\n\nActive scholarship in education or community-oriented research\n\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications and Skills:\nPhD or equivalent terminal degree\n\nExpertise in and/or pathophysiology\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSkill in course administration (course director/co-director)\n\nSkill in evaluation and feedback for medical students\n\nKnowledge of institution’s medical program objectives: Medical Education Program Objectives (MEPOs)\n\nKnowledge of institution’s pre-clinical and clinical MD curriculum\n\nGood communication skills and interpersonal relationships\n\nLocation :
