While there may not be an immediate opening, candidates will be considered as positions become available based on their qualifications and program needs.\nOdyssey has an exciting opportunity for experienced Acquisition Program Specialists at various levels to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB) at Eglin AFB, FL. This position supports program and financial managers with DoD planning, programming, and budgeting activities in support of the USAF weapons acquisition process.\nResponsibilities\nDuties may include, but are not limited to:\nDevelop and manage program plans, risk management, and streamlined operational processes.\nMaintain and update contract documents, monitor contractor production and project deliverables, and track contractual correspondence for Government or contractor responses.\nSupport creation of draft RFPs and related documentation (such as systems specifications, SRDs, SOOs, SOWs, and CDRLs).\nProvide guidance on source selection simulations, cost-benefit analyses, mock proposal development, RFP risk assessments, RFI responses, and training delivery.\nAssist with product baseline configuration management in accordance with military and industry standards.\nConduct economic, budget, and financial analysis, including forecasting and fund management.\nPrepare briefings and decision support materials.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US Citizen\nClearance: Current Secret clearance\nEducation and experience:\nJourneyman: Associate’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience\nSenior: Associate’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR Master’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nCurrent Top Secret clearance\nExperience providing acquisition program support within DoD programs.\nFamiliarity with FAR, DoD 5000.2, and related regulations and guides\nAdditionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:\nTechnical Skills\nDemonstrated understanding of and ability to apply acquisition program support\nAbility to develop and manage program plans, implement risk management processes, and design courses of action to streamline operations.\nExperience with DoD planning, programming, and budgeting processes, preferably in the context of USAF weapons acquisition.\nProficiency in cost estimating and analysis\nCompetence in managing multiple projects and adapting to changing program needs\nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to work independently while effectively supporting broader team and program objectives\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAdaptability and flexibility to respond to evolving requirements and operational challenges.\nProfessionalism in handling confidential information and adhering to equal opportunity and workplace standards.\nAdditional Information Location: Eglin AFB, FLTravel: May be required up to 10% depending on program needsWork Environment: Onsite\nThis is an evergreen position designed to pro-actively identify and engage highly qualified candidates for future openings across Odyssey’s portfolio of acquisition and program management support efforts.
