The selected candidate will provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) services to support the NRO on-site in Chantilly, VA.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nServe as program support to the government Program Manager (PM) with responsibility for technical knowledge of the assigned teams and programs/projects\nProvide technical guidance and recommendations related to the integration of National Systems-based capabilities\nWill engage with the national and tactical communities to collaboratively design, document, validate, and deliver architectures, systems and innovative ground capabilities in support of the national space architecture \nWill research, gather and write formal requirements, translate those requirements into user stories and statements of work\nWill provide schedule, requirements, configuration, and risk management support; and validation, verification, and test support \nWill support Agile-based program management and implementation of a model-Base Systems Engineering approach\nLead IPT meetings and review process boards to include but not limited to ERBs, CCBs, SRRs, CDRs, PDRs, and PMRs\nSupport the PM in multiple areas which include systems and mission engineering; system integration; program management; acquisition support; analytic support; technical analysis; user requirement management/development; architecture; and customer outreach and support\nServe as technical expert in their assigned area\nOther responsibilities include administrative and technical support to the Government leadership team, internal cross coordination, external mission partners and other DoD/IC customers\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance : Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph\nEducation/Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3 years OR Master's degree and 1 year OR Associate and 3 years OR High School/GED Diploma and 6 years.\nKnowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies.\nStrong systems engineering discipline with experience in traditional functions such as risk management, requirements management, configuration management, schedule management, or testing. \nExperience working space and ground programs from architecture-definition documentation (ADD/CONOPS) through requirements derivation and allocation, performance metric generation and assessment, test case development, and requirement closure tracing.\nAbility to facilitate commonality within the enterprise by defining, architecting, and integrating a multi-INT, multi-sensor, and multi-nodal processing capability.\nAbility to problem solve in a rapidly changing environment and interface with the customer daily.\nTrack and respond to office tasking, build and present program briefings, and update project schedules and calendars. \nBackground/knowledge of national space and ground systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation: Master’s degree in a BSTEM field.\nCertifications:\nCertified in one or more of the following: INCOSE (or DAWIA equivalent), OMG Systems Modeler, Agile, Project Management, MBSE.\nTechnical Skills:\nFamiliarity with the IC and NRO enterprise architecture, DOD's space architecture, and translation of Statement of Capabilities and Enterprise Capability Document line items to CONOPs and architectures.\nExperience developing, editing, and updating system architecture and CONOPs documentation as the system mission model matures.\nKnowledge of Electro-optical, RADAR, SIGINT, Communications, Mission Management, and Mission processing systems supporting a space and ground architecture. \nExperience generating and codifying inter-segment and inter-system interface requirements for major space mission ground systems.\nWorking knowledge of SAFe Agile or similar agile processes and JIRA and Confluence tools.\nExperience with RDNG/DOORs requirements database management/repository, Rhapsody, SysML applications, Confluence, Jira, or JSMART.\nUnderstand how system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities are enabled by MBSE across the digital thread (the engineering lifecycle).\nAbility to travel.\nAdditional Information:\nLocation: NRO, Chantilly VA\nTravel: As required by the Customer\nRemote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Onsite\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
