This Evergreen position is intended to identify and engage talent for anticipated openings across a variety of cybersecurity disciplines supporting Air Force acquisition and sustainment programs.\nCybersecurity professionals support the protection of DoD information systems through the implementation of cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, security engineering principles, and compliance activities. Responsibilities may span system security engineering, authorization and accreditation, vulnerability management, security documentation, classified information protection, and cybersecurity program support.\nThis requisition is being used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for anticipated future opportunities. Candidates who meet the qualifications may be contacted as positions become available that align with their skills, experience, clearance level, and location preferences.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nAssist in the development of security documentation including System Security Management Plans, Program Protection Plans, Security Risk Analyses, OPSEC Plans, and other required system security engineering artifacts.\n\nSupport RMF Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) activities, ensuring compliance with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.\n\nManage system user accounts, ports/protocols, PKI requirements, and access control lists.\n\nImplement and track system security updates, configurations, and vulnerability remediation in accordance with DoD requirements.\n\nConduct risk and vulnerability assessments; recommend security policies, contingency plans, and disaster recovery procedures.\n\nParticipate in system/network design to ensure alignment with security policies.\n\nProvide leadership in analyzing and integrating cybersecurity requirements into system design and operations.\n\nReview and assess the implementation of RMF security controls across system architecture, documentation, and design artifacts.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure RMF A&A approval by all Authorizing Officials.\n\nMaintain and audit databases for classified information, visits, and clearances.\n\nSupport classified material handling, accountability, and compliance with security classification guides.\n\nDevelop and deliver security awareness training and education programs.\n\nPrepare and review acquisition security documentation and ensure compliance with CDRLs.\n\nPlan and implement security-related surveys, assessments, and evaluations throughout the program life cycle.\n\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an Active Secret clearance\nCertifications: Security +\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: TS\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in a professional engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited educational program and at least 7 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, 3 of which must be in the DoD\nCertifications: CISSP\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity in DoD cloud infrastructure.\n\nKnowledge of Agile methodologies including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps.\n\nStrong ability to communicate technical topics effectively in both written and verbal forms.\n\n Technical Skills\nACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution)\nNIST 800-53 Security Controls\nSTIG compliance\neMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service)\nRisk Management Framework (RMF) implementation and documentation.\n\nSecurity policies and compliance.\n\nSystem Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) processes.\n\nDoD cloud infrastructure security.\n\nAgile development methods including CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps.\n\nSecurity risk, vulnerability, and contingency planning.\n\nPKI management and access control.\n\nClassified material handling and accountability.\n\nInterpersonal Skills\nStrong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to collaborate with government, contractor, and industry stakeholders.\n\nEffective problem-solving and analytical thinking.\n\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n\nAdaptability to evolving program requirements and security challenges.\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Hanscom AFB, MA\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
