The NC3 Directorate provides support to the Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PEA), Deputy Director, Deputy AFPAE NC3, and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs. The Directorate consists of Engineering (EN), Financial Management (FM), Operations Management (OM), Information Protection (IP), Contracts (PK), Cyber, Logistics (LG), Program Execution Group (PEG), and Intelligence (IN).\nThis is a full-time position located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nPrepare program budgets, reports, and financial documentation; analyze funding and budgeting requirements and recommend solutions to improve financial management effectiveness and process efficiency.\nPerform budget forecasting, variance analysis, financial execution reporting, schedule analysis, and Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis.\nIdentify accounting discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.\nUtilize automated management information systems to perform analytical, advisory, and reporting functions.\nCompile and analyze financial data to support financial metrics, Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) activities, management internal controls, self-assessments, and routine reporting requirements.\nSupport the development and execution of funds management documentation, funding forecasts, budget submissions, and financial models used for decision-making.\nPrepare financial papers, briefings, and documentation supporting Budget Execution Reviews (BERs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Milestone Decision Reviews (MDRs), Management Acquisition Reviews (MARs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Acquisition Strategy Plans (ASPs), and Integrated Product Team (IPT) risk assessments.\nDraft financial documentation for submission to government leadership, including Procurement Documents (P-DOCs), Research, Development, Test and Evaluation Documents (R-DOCs), and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) documentation.\nTrack and report the status of approved, deferred, and released funds and assist in correcting financial record discrepancies.\nPrepare funding documents including Purchase Requests (PRs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), project orders, and other financial documentation in accordance with financial management policies and regulations.\nMaintain an independent audit trail to track, record, and report the status of funding documents throughout their lifecycle.\nConduct quick-turn \"what-if\" funding assessments and support ad hoc financial reporting and data calls.\nSupport Air Force and DoD exercises and simulations requiring financial management support.\nMonitor and maintain reimbursable budget programs.\nConduct research and analysis using financial systems and reporting tools, including CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and FM Suite.\nMaintain financial databases and generate ad hoc reports in support of program requirements.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Active Secret Clearance\nEducation: BA/BS degree\nYears of Experience: 3 - 7 of relevant Air Force Financial Management experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: Active Secret Clearance\nEducation: MA/MS Degree\nYears of experience: 7+ of relevant Air Force or DoW/DoD environments\n Technical Skills\nDoD Financial Management and Budget Execution\nProgram Budget Development and Forecasting\nVariance Analysis and Financial Reporting\nEarned Value Management (EVM)\nFinancial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR)\nProgram Objective Memorandum (POM) development\nPurchase Requests (PRs) and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs)\nAcquisition Financial Management support\nFinancial Data Analysis and Audit Trail Management\nCCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, and FM Suite\nFinancial Database Management and Ad Hoc Reporting\nBudget Execution Reviews (BERs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)\n Interpersonal Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to develop and present financial briefings\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities\nAbility to collaborate effectively with Government and contractor personnel\nAttention to detail and financial accuracy\nAbility to support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)\nAbility to provide financial recommendations to leadership\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Peterson SFB, CO\nTravel: 10%\nOn-site\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
