The environment is fast-paced and centers on innovative digital communications technologies, offering both on-the-job training and formal technical coursework. Candidates should have strong technical foundations with motivation to expand into additional required domains. Responsibilities may range from supporting project leads to leading efforts as experience progresses.\nThis is a full-time, onsite position at Eglin AFB, FL. Limited telework may be authorized based on mission requirements.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nDevelop and maintain ADTL test-support hardware, software, and scripts under established security guidelines.\nPerform hands-on integration, operation, and maintenance of hardware and electrical components, using electrical measurement tools for verification and validation.\nAnalyze failures associated with test equipment and recommend technical solutions.\nAssist Test Engineers with developing test architectures and engineering solutions.\nReview technical documentation to gather system data required for design and support.\nInterface with program offices to assist in developing engineering solutions.\nAssist test teams integrating engineered solutions into test plans, CONOPS, test cards, data-analysis plans, and formal reports.\nDevelop and maintain a continuity database and engineering solution library.\nDevelop and present technical briefings to the test community, program offices, and senior-level personnel.\nTravel to contractor facilities, test sites, and other locations as needed.\nParticipate in planning, execution, data analysis, report generation, and other program-related activities.\nSupport additional tasks assigned by TGBC leadership.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Active Secret Clearacne;must be approved for TS/SCI and Special Access\nEducation: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other relevant technical fields\nYears of Experience: 3-10 years of experience (experience may substitute for education)\nStrong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills\nAbility to communicate and present technical details clearly\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to travel up to 25%\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: TS/SCI\nEducation: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering\nUnderstanding of digital data RF systems or data links.\nExperience with Python scripting.\nExperience with Windows and Linux environments.\nExperience with software/hardware testing and automated test tools.\n Technical Skills\nKnowledge of software development and scripting.\nAbility to design, construct, integrate, and maintain hardware/software test systems.\nUnderstanding of digital data RF systems or data links (preferred).\nPython scripting experience (preferred).\nExperience with Windows and Linux operating systems (preferred).\nExperience with software and/or hardware testing (preferred).\nExperience developing automated test tools or fixtures (preferred).\nAbility to use electrical measurement tools for verification and validation.\nAbility to review technical documentation and translate requirements into engineering actions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nInterpersonal Skills\nSuperior organization, communication, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent self-initiative and self-motivation.\nStrong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.\nAbility to clearly present technical information both verbally and in writing.\nAble to interface professionally with program offices, test teams, and cross-functional engineering groups.\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Eglin AFB, FL\nWork Environment: Onsite (limited telework may be authorized)\nJob Status: Full-time\nTravel: Up to 25% CONUS/OCONUS\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
