In this role you will get to participate in analysis of future Missile Defense System (MDS) architectures and concepts, and modeling and simulation (M&S) tool development to support architecture assessment.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nAssess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance\nAssist in the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process and assess analysis results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs/reports\nSupport modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plans\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Active Secret clearance with Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree\nYears of Experience: 3+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project\nBasic understanding of the current MDS architecture and future concepts\nSome experience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architectures\nBasic skills in interpreting results and presenting findings clearly\nAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as collaboration with others to achieve objectives\nStrong time management skills and the ability to assess tasks based on their importance and urgency\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance\nTechnical Skills\nExperience with AFSIM or similar MDS simulation tools/frameworks\nBackground in IAMD/Cruise Missile Defense systems\nBackground or experience with space systems\nExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architectures\nExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activities\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Customer site Fort Belvoir, VA\nTravel: Occasional travel at the request of the Government\nRemote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Onsite with telework opportunities at Customer discretion.\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
