This modernization effort enhances capabilities, transitions from on-prem server to a cloud environment, identifies functionality no longer utilized or required by Government.\nThis is a full-time position in Colorado located at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado and offer some hybrid flexibility (Approx. 1-2 days per week remote)\nResponsibilities\nDuties include but are not limited to:\nProvide expert government oversight of prime contractor software development, with a specific focus on data fusion, cloud technology and transfer of legacy system functionality to cloud based environment.\nAssess and provide technical recommendations on contractor-proposed software architectures, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best industry practices.\nOversee contractor adherence to modern DevSecOps practices within their software development lifecycles and assessing code quality.\nReview and recommend for Government approval contractor-generated software documentation and complex data format specifications.\nEnsure seamless integration by collaborating with systems engineers and program managers, resolving complex interface and timing challenges.\nServe as the government's software SME during technical discussions, risk assessments, and Configuration Control Boards.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Top Secret-level security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI level clearance\nEducation: High School Diploma\nYears of Experience: 15 years of directly related experience; to include 8 years of DoD experience; OR\nBachelor's Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience; OR\nMaster's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include three (3) years of DoD experience\nTechnical Skills:\n15+ years of experience in software engineering, signal processing, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and embedded systems.\nStrong understanding of DevSecOps, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), cloud implementation, and CI/CD pipelines.\nFamiliarity with Scenario Generation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: Top Secret/SCI\nEducation: Bachelor's\nYears of experience: Twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience\nCertifications: IAT Level II baseline certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, CSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP)\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO\nTravel: 10% or as needed\nRemote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid- Approx.1-2 days remote based on Government discretion\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
