The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Portfolio Acquistion Executive (PAE), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPAE NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs.\nThis is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA.\nResponsibilities\nIn this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nComprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63-101/20-101, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.\nKnowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.\nKnowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action.\nEffectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).\nPlan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\nSupport and develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e. Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Monthly Activity Report (MAR), etc.).\nSupport program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.\nSupport and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.\nUnderstand the different funding types, budgets and the Central Asset Management (CAM) process\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.\nEducation: BA/BS Degree and 3- 7 years of relevant experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience: 7+ years supporting Air Force Acquisition Programs\nAir Force acquisition experience with strong emphasis on acquisition documentation processing.\nAbility to work in fast paced environment, often with minimal direction/oversight\nTechnical Skills\nKnowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle management and Adaptive Acquisition Framework processes\nExperience supporting cost, schedule, and performance management activities\nExperience developing, reviewing, editing, and coordinating acquisition documentation and executive briefings\nFamiliarity with DoD 5000 series acquisition documentation and processes\nExperience supporting acquisition reporting activities, including DAES, MARs, and senior leadership reviews\nExperience supporting RFP activities and acquisition support functions\nAbility to coordinate documentation packages for senior leader review and high-visibility program activities\nInterpersonal Skills\nStrong team player mindset and collaborative attitude\nAbility to integrate effectively within cross-functional environments\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nComfortable briefing leadership and operating in high-visibility environments\nAbility to communicate effectively with Government, military, and contractor personnel\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Hanscom Air Force Base, Bedford, MA\nTravel: Frequent Travel based on the needs of the program\nOn-site\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
