The MC2S Program Office team performs technical studies, designs solutions for modernization projects, manages platform configurations, coordinates programmed depot maintenance and unprogrammed depot-level repairs, supports cybersecurity requirements, and manages the testing of the products.\nThis position is located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming, supporting AFNWC/NCCM.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to: \nComprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force. \nKnowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs. \nKnowledge of support activities that assist the PM in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems and the pursuit of alternative courses of action. \nMust be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, and plans). \nPlan, research, analyze and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment; formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives. \nProvide support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management. \nPossesses expert knowledge, experience and recognized ability to be considered an industry leader in their technical/professional field. Typically performs the following kinds of functions: initiates, oversees, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; provides strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff; provides detailed analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues; consults with client to define needs or problems; oversees studies; and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions. Possesses the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior, journeyman, and senior contractor personnel within and across multiple technical/professional disciplines. \nQualifications\nMinimum Requirements:\nCitizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen\nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Top Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SCI\nEducation: High School Diploma\nYear’s experience: Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience; to include eight (8) years of DoD experience; OR,\nBachelor’s Degree in related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience; OR,\nMaster’s in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical discipline; to include five (5) years of DoD experience. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nClearance: Active TS/SCI\nCertification: PMP\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in a related field\nAdditional Experience:\nExperience and Familiarity with the MC2S program office and associated systems - highly preferred\nNuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems experience - highly preferred\nAdditional Information:\nLocation: Onsite full-time position located at F.E.
