WIB is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nServe in a Communications, Navigation, Identifications, Sensors & Ancillary Systems (CNI SAS) Integration Engineering Support role. \nProvide specialized technical expertise for support of LAA avionic CNI systems which includes Controls and Displays, Communications, Navigation, Surveillance, Data Links, and Cabin Management Systems.\nProvide support for LAA avionics systems development, testing, integration, and certification efforts.\nReview applicable CNI OEM-delivered programmatic data (e.g., engineering drawings, performance specifications, hardware and software configuration documentation, interface control documents, and commercial item descriptions/specifications) to ensure that deliverables meet technical and programmatic requirements.\nPerform other CNI engineering activities to include CNI related Military and Commercial Standards Airworthiness Directives, evaluating CNI Architectures and Interfaces such as MIL-STD-1553, RS-232, assist with Interoperability of Communications Systems and Spectrum Management, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects airborne equipment standards, familiarization with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464, and applicable certification efforts for TEMPEST, Spectrum, and HERO.\nSupport with IFF selectable identification features/modes and AIMS certification efforts.\nSupport with Heads-Up Display (HUD) Primary Flight Reference (PFR) certification efforts.\nHave experience with military GPS, Link-16, and/or SATCOM subsystems.\nQualifications\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nCitizenship: US Citizen\nClearance: Secret\nCertifications: N/A\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMaster’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD. \nOR bachelor’s degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year experience with the USG aircraft and project certification process, including familiarity with the MIL-STD- 1553, RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, ARINC-429, 461, and or 464. \nCV-22 Experience.\nRemote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Onsite at Patuxent River, MD.\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
