You will lead implementation of security controls, oversee compliance activities, direct vulnerability management efforts, and support the evolution of automation hardware and software infrastructure.\nThis is a full-time position located at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nServe as the principal technical authority for information systems operations, cybersecurity, and information assurance.\nLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls for real-time, standalone, and networked systems in classified environments.\nDirect vulnerability management, incident response, and risk mitigation strategies for complex, multispectral test facilities.\nEvaluate, select, and integrate emerging technologies to support mission capability advancement.\nArchitect and manage robust configuration management and change control processes to ensure traceability and system integrity.\nOversee Certification & Accreditation, audit, and compliance programs using DISA STIGs, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), STIG Viewer, HBSS, and ACAS tools.\nMentor and develop engineering and IT teams, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.\nDevelop and implement strategies supporting the growth of automation hardware and software infrastructure.\nSupport classified, mission-critical operational environments across DoD test activities.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance\nEducation: Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; extensive experience may substitute with government approval.\nCertifications: DoD 8140 compliance; Security+ mandatory\nRecognized industry leader with a proven track record in system administration, cybersecurity, and information assurance.\nExtensive experience supporting classified, mission-critical environments within the DoD or equivalent organizations.\nHigh-level technical expertise in Windows, RHEL, networking, scripting, and enterprise system administration.\nPreferred Qualifications\nYears of experience: 10 + years of relevant technical experience\nCertifications: CISSP, CASP, or equivalent certifications highly preferred\n Technical Skills\nMastery of DISA STIGs, SCC, STIG Viewer, Host-Based Security System (HBSS), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).\nExtensive experience in classified, mission-critical DoD or equivalent environments.\nAdvanced proficiency with:Microsoft Windows OS\nRed Hat Enterprise Linux OS\n Windows Domains & Group Policies\nPowerShell & Python scripting\nDNS, DHCP, TCP/UDP\nLayer 2/3 networking\n\nAbility to lead design and implementation of system security controls.\nSkill in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies for mission-focused environments.\nExperience with Certification & Accreditation processes, audits, and compliance.\nInterpersonal Skills\nDemonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary engineering and IT teams.\nOutstanding communication, customer interaction, and presentation skills.\nAbility to interface effectively with diverse individuals across technical and operational environments.\nComfortable operating independently within highly dynamic, fast-paced environments.\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Eglin AFB, Florida\nWork Environment: Onsite\nJob Status: Full-Time\nTravel: Approximately 10%\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
