The Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Division, has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to deliver airborne Battle Management Command & Control (BMC2) capabilities that support joint, allied, coalition, humanitarian, and homeland defense operations. Modernization efforts enable continued involvement with worldwide operations by revitalizing legacy mission systems, replacing aging computer architectures, integrating multi-sensor data fusion, and improving global expeditionary readiness and availability. Additionally, the Division assists in the planned divestiture of the E-3 platform and in shaping development of follow-on capabilities for future airborne C2 systems.\nThis is a full time Hybrid position located at Tinker AFB, OK.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nSupport all program management aspects of cost, schedule, and performance objectives for acquisition programs.\nProvide program level acquisition support to the Section Chief and 10 Integrated Product Team leads by helping guide successful program execution based on DoD Directives to include 5000.1/2, AFIs to include 62-601, 63-101, 63-124, 63-1201, AFPD 62-6, AFI 91-117/118/119, 99-103, and AFMAN 63-119, helping to maintain the acquisition battle rhythm and deliver warfighter capability. \nSummarize activities into a weekly program execution chart. \nProvide guidance on preparation and tailoring of acquisition documents to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM), Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), Acquisition Strategy Plan (ASP), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Risk Management Plans, Program Management Reviews, and milestone decision briefings.\nProvide expert Program Management guidance to build Request for Proposal (RFPs), Statement of Work (SOWs), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and other RFP products\nSupport, prepare, review and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory acquisition report and milestone review documentation as identified in DoDI 5000.02 (experience with LCMP tool, PDAA, PMRT, WAWF, CCaRS etc) \nEnsure on-time responses for all LCMP suspenses for each program. Check that LCMP updates are timely and in sync with other reports, particularly with risks, critical events, accomplishments, and schedule. Particular focus on contracts and funding.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Top Secret clearance\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoD. Or,\n15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical Skills\nExtensive experience in program management support, including planning, execution, and oversight of complex Department of Defense aviation and acquisition programs.\nProficiency in cost, schedule, and performance management, including tracking key program metrics, analyzing trends, and supporting data-driven decision-making.\nSkilled in risk identification, mitigation planning, and issue management to support program objectives and minimize execution challenges.\nExperience developing, maintaining, and managing program documentation, reports, briefings, milestone reviews, and executive-level communications.\nKnowledge of defense acquisition processes, program lifecycle management, and support for major weapon system development and sustainment efforts such as the E-7 Wedgetail AWACS.\nAbility to coordinate and integrate activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring alignment between program requirements, resources, and deliverables.\nProficient in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, for program analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communications.\nInterpersonal Skills\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex program information clearly to leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.\nStrong relationship-building abilities with experience collaborating across government, contractor, engineering, logistics, and international partner organizations.\nSelf-starter who demonstrates initiative, accountability, and the ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.\nEffective team collaborator capable of fostering cooperation and alignment among diverse stakeholders to achieve program goals.\nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enabling identification of program risks and development of practical solutions to support successful execution.\nHighly organized and detail-oriented professional with excellent time management and situational awareness in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.\nDemonstrated ability to lead through influence rather than authority, maintaining professionalism, adaptability, and credibility while navigating complex stakeholder relationships.\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Tinker AFB, OK\nTravel: 20% (Hanscom AFB, Seattle)\nHybrid\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
