The candidate will provide test and evaluation technical and engineering support across test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, including data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing.\nThis is a full-time on-site position at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but are not limited to:\nProvide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational \nUtilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test \nPrepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation/analyses, specifications, cost estimates test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.\nSelect and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and \nReview and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.\nDevelop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.\nEvaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion/fault identification).\nDe-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Top Secret\nEducation and experience: Associates + 15 years in Related Discipline OR Bachelor’s in Related Discipline + 10 years Relevant Experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nClearance: Top Secret\nEducation and experience: Associates + 20 years in relevant experience OR Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET-accredited) + 15 years relevant experience\n Technical Skills\nTest concept development and test methodology development\n\nTest plan development, test execution, and test reporting\n\nData reduction and analysis\n\nEnd-user operational testing support\n\nDesign of Experiments application for test planning and execution\n\nEngineering techniques and procedures for complex problem/data analysis\n\nTest environment configuration and operational relevance evaluation\n\nSoftware release test support (fault insertion/fault identification)\n\nSchedule de-confliction support across multiple releases\n\nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to develop innovative approaches to complex test problems\n\nStrong attention to quality, adequacy, and completeness of test results and conclusions\n\nAbility to deliver thorough, timely, and efficient task execution\n\nAbility to provide clear analysis and recommendations to program test leadership\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Eglin AFB, FL\nTravel: Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.\nWork Environment: Onsite\n9/80 work schedule option may be available\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
