This position will support the planning, execution, and reporting of major IT Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities across the division’s programs.\nResponsibilities\nIn this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nSupport the entire testing lifecycle including test concept and methodology development, detailed test planning, execution, data analysis, and end-user operational testing.\n\nDevelop and document test plans, criteria, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.\n\nApply Design of Experiments (DoE) techniques to optimize test strategies and resource use.\n\nEvaluate test environments for configuration accuracy, operational relevance, and availability for fault testing and verification.\n\nAnalyze and interpret complex data to assess software/hardware performance and draw meaningful conclusions.\n\nProvide detailed findings, analysis, and recommendations to program leadership and test teams.\n\nIdentify schedule conflicts between multiple test events/releases and support deconfliction and prioritization.\n\nApply engineering judgment and develop innovative solutions to address test and evaluation challenges.\n\nIndependently manage tasks and deliverables, with only limited supervision and periodic detailed review.\n\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Must have an active Top Secret clearance\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 15 years of relevant experience, 5 years of which must be in the DoD OR,\n20 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications as defined in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 years of which must be in the DoD\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation: Master’s degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of relevant experience, 5 years of which must be in the DoD\n Technical Skills\nProficient in test planning and documentation\n\nStrong knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE)\n\nFamiliar with test tools and environments, fault insertion testing, and data analysis\n\nUnderstanding of software/system lifecycle and configuration management\n\nInterpersonal Skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team\n\nEffective in providing briefings and reports to senior stakeholders\n\nSkilled at conflict resolution and schedule management\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TXTravel: May be required per the customer’s discretionOnsite\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
