Under the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM), Kessel Run technologies form part of the DAF BATTLE NETWORK, enabling the Joint Force to make operational decisions faster than adversaries in support of great power competition.\nThis is a full time position located at Langley AFB, VA.\nResponsibilities\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nProvide systems engineering support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, sustainment, and operations.\nConduct systems engineering reviews, technical assessments, and trade studies to evaluate system performance, cost, schedule, risk, and technical effectiveness.\nSupport the development, maintenance, and management of system requirements, technical baselines, architectures, and interface documentation.\nTranslate operational and user requirements into system and subsystem requirements using approved DoD and Air Force acquisition processes.\nSupport architecture development and analysis, including traditional systems engineering methodologies, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and digital engineering approaches.\nAssist with planning and execution of technical reviews, including System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Technology Readiness Assessments (TRA), and related engineering activities.\nSupport risk management, configuration management, technical data management, requirements management, and interface management activities.\nDevelop and maintain engineering documentation including Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Risk Management Plans, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), technical reports, and acquisition artifacts.\nConduct engineering analyses supporting system interoperability, cloud deployment, virtualization, network architectures, and system integration efforts.\nSupport proposal evaluations, market research, and technical assessments of contractor solutions.\nParticipate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide technical recommendations to government leadership.\nSupport engineering activities related to logistics, sustainment, reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle support planning.\nPreparing AOC WS Enterprise Change Requests for integration.\n\nSustainment and modernization of AOC WS on-premises hardware and software, variance management.\n\nProgram policy development, release document reviews, and surveillance of prime integrator.\n\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications:\nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret security clearance\nPreferred Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor's Degree in a related field\nYears of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting\nTechnical Skills\nSystems Engineering across the acquisition lifecycle\nDoD and USAF systems engineering experience\nSystem-of-Systems Architecture Development\nMission Integration and Enterprise Architecture\nRequirements Development and Analysis\nIdentity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM)\nRisk Assessment and Mitigation Planning\nCloud-based systems, including management and projection of cost and performance\nAgile methodologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principles\nKnowledge of systems acquisition and program management processes as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5000.75\nModeling, Simulation, and Analysis\nTechnical Documentation and Executive Brief Development\nInterpersonal Skills\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal oversight\nCritical thinker capable of identifying issues and developing practical solutions\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to communicate technical concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders\nAbility to proactively engage customers and provide well-developed recommendations\nStrong organizational and leadership abilities\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Langley AFB, VA\nTravel: 20%\nOnsite\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
