This role requires strict adherence to DoD and Air Force policies, frameworks, and certification standards throughout the contract period, including RMF and PKI implementation.\nThis is a full time on-site position located at Hanscom AFB, MA.\nResponsibilities\nIn this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.\nDuties include, but not limited to:\nEnsure 100% of personnel delivering cybersecurity services are certified per DoD 8570.01-M standards.\n\nEnsure all system and application deliverables comply with DoDI 8500.01 (Cybersecurity) and AFI 33-200 (Air Force Cybersecurity Program Management).\n\nSupport implementation and compliance with DoDI 8510.01 and AFI 33-210 regarding the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology.\n\nSupport activities in accordance with DoDI 8520.02 to enable PKI-supported capabilities (biometrics, encryption, digital signatures, identification, and authentication).\n\nSupporting the system/application authorization and accreditation (A&A) effort, to include assessing and guiding the quality and completeness of A&A activities, tasks, and resulting artifacts mandated by governing DoD and Air Force policies (i.e., Risk Management Framework (RMF).\n\nRecommending policies and procedures to ensure the reliability of and accessibility to information systems and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.\n\nConducting risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.\n\nPromoting awareness of security issues among management and ensuring sound security principles are reflected in organizations’ visions and goals.\n\nConducting systems security evaluations, audits, and reviews.\n\nRecommending systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.\n\nRecommending and implementing programs to ensure that systems, network, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.\n\nParticipate in network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies.\n\nFacilitating the gathering, analysis, and preservation of evidence used in the prosecution of computer crimes.\n\nAssessing security events to determine impact and implementing corrective actions.\n\nEnsuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of all IT services.\n\nPerform the Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) duties in an Information Assurance Workforce System Architecture and Engineering (IASAE) position as outlined in AFI 33-200, AFI 33-210 and AFMAN 33-285 for assigned systems.\n\nPerform the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) duties as outlined in DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems/applications.\n\nPerform the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) duties as outlined in DoDI 8510.01 for assigned systems/applications.\n\nQualifications\nCitizenship: Must be a US citizen\nMinimum Required Qualifications\nClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance\nEducation: BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD; OR\n20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.\n\nCertifications: IAM II Level Certification\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation: Master’s degree\nTechnical Skills\nWorking knowledge of DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, DoDI 8520.02\n\nHands-on experience implementing RMF in DoD environments\n\nExpertise in PKI/PK enabling capabilities and compliance\n\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity-related CDRLs and documentation standards\n\nInterpersonal Skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to interpret and apply complex DoD policies and regulations\n\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Hanscom AFB, MA\nOnsite\nCompany Overview\nOdyssey is a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
