You will work within the Accounting Department and collaborate closely with our Operations Department.\nRequirements:\nMinimum 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced data entry or similar clerical role.\nPrevious work experience in the Logistics and Transportation industry, notably in freight forwarding, is highly preferred.\nPrevious experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn advanced functions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, and Word.\n Responsibilities:Review Original Bill of Ladings (BOLs), legal documents, and payments received to send release documentation and payments to vendors. \nProcess 300+ documents daily in adherence to tight deadlines.\nRecord charges, refunds, invoices, checks, and related reports into the ERP system, CargoWise One.\nInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies.\nUtilize CargoWise One and Microsoft Excel to track, trace, and update the status of shipments.\nCommunicate with customers, overseas offices, and vendors by email and phone with status updates on shipments. \nAddress any customer inquiries related to release status, customs status, and payment verification.\nProvide customers and vendors with payment options for shipment release .\nSalary:$22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.\n Benefits:Hybrid work schedule (1-day a week working from home); laptop provided by OEC Group.\n10-days PTO (Paid Time Off), Employee Appreciation Days, Paid Holidays, Sick/Flex time.\nFull Health Insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, term life, and accident insurance.\n401K retirement plan with 3% company match.\nDiscounted pet insurance - woof!
