We remain competitive by offering a wide range of logistics services, including: ocean and air freight, rail, trucking, warehousing and distribution, customs brokerage, cargo insurance and more.\nAbout the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):\nCreating internal customer profiles in CargoWise to provide all departments with detailed customer information when needed.\nUse best judgment and knowledge to assist customers in making the most suitable choice for their needs. \nProvide quotations to customers when required.\nCoordinates with customers and other departments to ensure the smooth movement of freight by providing tracking information and shipment updates to customers.\nCommunicates with customers by phone or email to build excellent customer relationships to in order to provide great customer service.\nHandles any special requests from our customers.\nSends new shipment bookings to customers.\nValidates and confirms all ocean/air shipment bookings from origin to destination, ensuring customer satisfaction.\nManage daily emails/phone calls from customers and other offices/departments pertaining to respective accounts.\nDirects customer questions/concerns to the correct department as needed.\nWork Schedule\nMonday through Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm EST\nComputer Skills\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.\nExperience with CargoWise is a plus.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree preferred\nExperience dealing with a high volume of data entry\nSalary\n$55,000-$65,000 annually based on education and experience level.\nPerks & Benefits of OEC Group\nAfter successfully completing and passing a standard 90-day introductory period the employee is provided with the following benefits package.
