You will be a partner in our Ocean Import department developing and maintaining good relationships with carriers, truckers, customers, and warehouses.\nRequirements:\nMinimum 1 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry handling ocean import or export operations is required.\nPrevious experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.\nProven ability to handle high volumes of data entry.\nClear and effective communication skills.\nBilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus but not required.\n Responsibilities:Electronic file management (Arrival Notice generating, 7501, BOL issuing, etc.).\nTrack, trace, and update ocean import containers/shipments in CargoWise One, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed. \nCommunicate shipment delays or documentation issues to clients and overseas agents.\nProblem resolution between customers, carriers, and vendors.\nTrace rail shipments to provide final ETA updates and pickup numbers to clients.\nAWS shipment tracing to provide courtesy last free day notice.\nSalary:$22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.\n Benefits:Hybrid work schedule (1-day a week working from home); laptop provided by OEC Group.\n10-days PTO (Paid Time Off), Employee Appreciation Days, Paid Holidays, Sick/Flex time.\nFull Health Insurance coverage including medical, dental, vision, term life, and accident insurance.\n401K retirement plan with 3% company match.\nDiscounted pet insurance - woof!
