This role will work closely with field personnel, engineering staff, and asset team to troubleshoot and solve problems, identify opportunities to enhance production, and review expenditures to lower costs with an ultimate goal of driving industry-leading financial, operational, safety, and environmental performance.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nProvide engineering support for operations and asset team.\nCollaborate with field personnel and engineering staff on projects and corporate initiatives.\nMonitor operations, well performance, cost control, and profitability in assigned areas.\nGenerate and review capital/expense AFE’s for facility, workover, and regulatory expenditures.\nDiagnose downhole and surface equipment problems, support root cause failure analysis process, and recommend intervention or design changes as needed.\nDevelop plans for product recovery and treatment (artificial lift, facilities, pipelines, utilities, chemical treatment, etc.).\nInvestigate new technologies and implement when appropriate.\nReview lease operating expenditures and identify opportunities to lower costs.\nAnalyze well production performance and make recommendations for improvement.Work with other disciplines including facilities engineering, SCADA, I&E, and measurement to improve production facility operation, design, and reduce cost.\nSupport/Lead HSE incident investigations and hazard evaluations.\nEnsure compliance with governmental requirements and company policy.\nOther duties as assigned.\nSkills and Competencies\nAbility to perform economic analysis and justification.\nProficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Spotfire, & Wellview\nKnowledge and application of nodal analysis.\nKnowledge of well control principles.\nEnsures accountability -
