The completion engineers collaborate with drilling, reservoir, production, and subsurface technical teams to enhance well performance with timely execution. Key responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, troubleshoot operation challenges with field teams to minimize downtime, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and company policies and regulations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement completion designs and procedures that maximize well productivity while ensuring safe and efficient execution of stimulation operations.\nPlan and optimize completion strategies for development and exploration, ensuring optimal recovery and operational efficiency.\nOversee the daily execution of completion operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and company safety policies and best practices.\nCollaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including drilling, production, and reservoir engineers, to optimize well performance and ensure seamless integration of completion operations.\nAnalyze and troubleshoot operational issues in the field, working with field leaders to implement effective solutions and minimize downtime.\nPrepare and review Authorization for Expenditures (AFEs), manage capital expenditures, and track well costs to ensure projects stay within budget.\nEnsure all completion activities comply with state, federal, and company policies, regulations, and industry standards.\nTake an active role to promote and enforce a Continental’s strong safety culture by integrating safety best practices into all aspects of completion operations.\nLead change management initiatives by adapting to evolving operational requirements and incorporating new technologies, procedures, and industry best practices.\nContinuously evaluate and implement improvements to completion techniques, aiming to enhance well performance, reduce operational problems, and increase overall efficiency.\nMonitor and analyze operational data, providing accurate and timely reports on well performance, completion operations, and expenditures.\nProvide technical guidance to early career engineers and field teams, offering mentorship and support to ensure high standards of team performance and safety.\nContinuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, applying different audiences.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor of Science in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university.\nMinimum of five (five) years of experience with all facets of completion operations, modern stimulation techniques, subsurface technical knowledge, and solving complex petro-technical problems.\nAbility and willingness to drive and/or travel for extended periods of time.\nAdaptability to work various schedules in a dynamic environment to accommodate field rotations and remote locations.\nAn acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing, planning, and overseeing completion operations across multiple shale basins.\nStrong knowledge of drillout operations and related equipment, including snubbing, coiled tubing, workover rigs, wireline tools, and associated field practices.\nTechnical expertise in completion design, hydraulic fracturing design and operations, well control, and production optimization.\nFamiliarity with cementing practices, including primary cement design, evaluation, and remedial cementing operations.\nAbility to analyze operational data, interpret results, and draw actionable conclusions.\nKnowledge of cased-hole logging, tubular corrosion, materials selection, coatings, and hydraulic fracturing chemicals.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across drilling, completions, production, reservoir, and field operations.\nPrior experience supporting international operations\nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nRequires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.\nOccasional lifting up to 25 pounds.\nManual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer
