The Screening Operator is responsible for setting up and operating all equipment for the Finishing Process including Screening, Packaging, Remelt/Warehouse and Cladding under moderate supervision. This role is also responsible for homogeneity of in-process material and finished products. Cleans screening equipment between alloys to remove residual powder. Submits samples of in-process and finished product to the Quality Control laboratory for testing, identifying product with proper heat or lot number.\nMeets or exceeds all safety, environmental, and health goals for department.\nMeets or exceeds quality goals for production orders.\nMeets or exceeds productivity targets.\nContributes to continual improvement activities.\nNotifies lead or supervisor about any problems.\nAssisting in other Finishing departments (i.e. Canning, Remelt, Cladding, Blends)\nPerforms other duties as required\nYour Profile:\nHigh School Education\nProficient in Mathematics (Decimals, Fractions, Percentages, Weighted Averages)\nStrong customer focus - internal and external.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nWhy Oerlikon:\nOur curiosity and passion to succeed, has enabled us to create an environment in which innovation and innovators thrive.
