Connect with us!\n Sales Engineer - Canada\nResponsible for driving sales growth throughout Canada. Primary market focus includes Plumbing, Data Centers, Medical, Agriculture, Automotive, and Industrial Manufacturing, with approximately 50% travel required.\nThis position is responsible for growing and developing the Clamps and Rings business, with a strong emphasis on automotive applications, including Thermal Management, Driveshaft, Steering, and Air Intake systems, while also supporting industrial manufacturing customers.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDrive sales growth and manage customer relationships throughout Canada.\nProtect, grow, and support sales for assigned regional and national customers.\nDevelop new business through customer prospecting, opportunity identification, and relationship management using the 360° sales approach.\nGrow the Clamps and Rings business within the Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing markets, focusing on applications such as Thermal Management, Driveshaft, Steering, and Air Intake systems.\nManage sales opportunities, forecasts, and customer activities using established CRM and sales management systems.\nSupport customer complaints, provide technical field service, and coordinate resolutions with internal teams.\nPartner with Key Account Managers and local production facilities to support strategic customer initiatives.\nEffectively manage time, travel, resources, and professional development to maximize sales performance.\nTravel approximately 50% to support customers, develop new business, and strengthen relationships throughout Canada.\n Predominant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nKnowledge of sales processes, sales principles, and applicable industries.\nKnowledge of internal support processes, quality management systems/principals, and how to apply them.\nDetailed knowledge of Oetiker products, applications, and assembly solutions.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).\nAbility to build lasting business relationships.\nMechanical and commercial aptitude\nProven ability to learn.\nAbility to work with the highest levels of integrity and compliance.\nEducation\nBachelor level degree in Engineering or other field supplemented with relevant technical experience\n At Oetiker, we don’t just sell parts - we engineer confidence.
