This includes building and managing the supplier base, supporting demand and supply planning, coordinating the global roll-out of new production processes and ensuring smooth and efficient customer order fulfillment.\nEssential Functions \nDevelop and implement a global supply chain strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives\nIdentify potential suppliers, analyze capabilities and build and manage a network of capable suppliers and production partners\nLead RFI/ RFQ/ RFP and strategic sourcing process and review, analyze and clarify quote packages from suppliers\nLead contractual negotiations with suppliers and manage relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and products\nAct as interface between process development and production teams and plan & coordinate the roll-out of new production processes in different Oetiker production locations\nMonitor and analyze supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement and implement process changes if needed\nPartner with KAM, Program Management and Production to plan sales projections and production capacity needs (Sales & Operations Planning)\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement global logistics and distribution processes for polymer products to ensure smooth customer order fulfillment\nAct as an advisor to Engineering, providing information and guidance on availability and cost of supplies and materials\nWork closely alongside Program Management and other key stakeholders to ensure milestone fulfillment in customer programs\n Knowledge, Skills, Abilities\nExperience with quality standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001\nExperience with inventory management and control\nStrong project management skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint\nInitiative-taking and a self-starter with hands-on skills\nStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills -
