If you're passionate about technology, too, come and join us!\nАbout the role:\nWe’re seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our Bulgaria-based engineering team and help us elevate our products to the next level. You'll be part of the Operations Hub - the team responsible for the core business logic powering OfficeRnD's Flex product. We’ve stayed ahead of our competition so far because of our ability to deliver elegant, high-quality software in quick iterations, and we want to double down on that. Our tech stack includes Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, MongoDB, Redis, and a few other technologies.\nIf you are an experienced backend engineer who enjoys owning features end-to-end, solving complex problems, and delivering high-quality software in fast iterations, this role will be a strong fit.\nWhat to bring:\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs powering core workspace management workflows, ensuring consistency, performance, and correctness.\nDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end product features across frontend and backend layers.\nCollaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.\nOwn and lead strategic initiatives related to new products and functionalities.\nDebug and resolve production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.\nReview peer code to ensure correctness, performance, maintainability, and knowledge sharing.\nWrite unit and integration tests and collaborate with QA engineers responsible for API and end-to-end test coverage.\nContinuously improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.\nMentor and support junior engineers on backend fundamentals and system design.\nContribute to scalable, reliable, and maintainable system architecture. \nMindset & ways of working\nStrong ownership mindset - you take end-to-end responsibility and consistently deliver reliable, well-thought-through solutions\nProduct-oriented thinking - you build with long-term maintainability, scalability, and user impact in mind\nContinuous learning mindset and willingness to grow together with the team - actively developing your skills while contributing to the team’s collective knowledge\nProactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving - you identify challenges early, communicate clearly, and work effectively with others to find solutions\nCommitment to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement\nTechnical experience\n5+ years of experience in fullstack development, preferably in cloud-based environments\nStrong proficiency in at least one backend technology (Node.js preferred; Java or .NET also valued)\nExperience designing and working with APIs and distributed systems\nSolid understanding of databases and data modeling\nHands-on experience building, deploying, and operating production systems\nFamiliarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred;
