Apply and join us!\nAbout the Job\nWe are looking for a Staff Engineer to lead one of our engineering teams and who is obsessed with solving real problems using technology. Not someone who knows every answer, but someone who figures it out - fast, creatively, and end-to-end. This is a mission-critical role for someone who thinks in systems, builds with AI, and gets genuinely excited about turning a messy business problem into an elegant working solution.\nThe ideal candidate doesn’t wait to be told what to build. They identify the problem, break it down, and ship something that works. If you’ve used AI to accelerate your coding, designed interfaces, wired up integrations, and thought deeply about why something needs to exist - not just how to build it - we want to talk to you.\nDuties and responsibilities\nBuild and Ship End-to-End\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy high-quality features across the full stack - from database to UI.\n\nUse AI coding tools actively and effectively to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality or clarity.\n\nTake ownership of problems from idea to production, including edge cases, monitoring, and iteration.\n\nThink in Systems\nBreak down complex, ambiguous problems into well-defined components before writing a line of code.\n\nProvide architectural input on critical systems, balancing speed with long-term stability.\n\nAnticipate failure modes, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges before they become incidents.\n\nDrive Product + Technical Thinking\nWork closely with Product and stakeholders to challenge assumptions and make sure we’re solving the right problem, not just the stated one.\n\nAsk the essential questions: Why does this need to exist? Who does it serve? What’s the simplest version that works?\n\nIdentify and automate inefficiencies across the development lifecycle.\n\nElevate the Team\nLead and mentor a team of engineers - not just on code quality, but on problem decomposition and engineering judgment.\n\nSet standards for how AI tools are used responsibly and effectively across the team.\n\nConduct code reviews that teach, not just approve.\n\nQualifications\nDemonstrated AI coding fluency - you use tools like Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar daily and know how to get the most out of them.\n\n5+ years of professional software development experience, with a track record of owning and delivering complex work.\n\nExpert proficiency in TypeScript and Python, and solid experience with modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).\n\nSystems thinking - you can decompose a large problem, design the pieces, and reason about how they interact.\n\nBuilder mindset - comfortable moving across front-end, back-end, infrastructure, DB but also thinking about product and prototyping.\n\nProduct mindset - you care about why you’re building something, not just how.\n\nCuriosity and self-direction - you don’t need everything spelled out; you dig in, find the answer, and move.\n\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nYou’ve built something end-to-end using AI - a product, a tool, an integration - that solved a real problem, possibly on your own or as the primary driver.\n\nYou’ve used AI not just for boilerplate but to genuinely accelerate system design, debugging, or architecture decisions.\n\nYou’ve worked in small teams or early-stage environments where wearing multiple hats was the norm, not the exception.\n\nYou’ve pushed back on requirements because you understood the underlying need better than the brief.\n\nWorking conditions\nThis role is a full-time salaried position.
