There are not many engineers in the Philippines who can say that, and this role is built for one of them. We are hiring an AI Engineer for a fast growing Australian nutrition and technology company. They combine human coaching with intelligent systems to deliver measurable health outcomes, and they are now building the next generation of their AI powered nutrition assistant. You will architect and ship it. You will work directly with their Head of Engineering and Product team, turning nutrition science and real user data into a production grade conversational system. You will own the architecture decisions, and you will carry them through to what ships. What you will be buildingA LangGraph powered conversational nutrition assistant with stateful memory, structured outputs and guardrails\nMulti step reasoning workflows that combine user profile data, behavioural data and contextual signals\nTool enabled agents that query internal APIs and databases to generate personalised recommendations\nRetrieval augmented generation pipelines for domain specific nutrition knowledge, using embeddings and vector databases\nMiddleware in Node.js and Express to support AI orchestration\nObservability, logging and evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs\nSystems that get measurably more reliable, faster and cheaper to run over time Why this role is worth having Most AI engineering jobs are one feature inside someone else’s architecture. This is the architecture. You are the person who decides how the graph is structured, how state is managed, how retrieval is tuned and how the whole thing is evaluated. You will be working in agent orchestration, the fastest moving area in applied AI right now, on a product where the output is a measurable health outcome for a real person.\nRequirements\nAt least 3 years of experience as an AI or ML Engineer building and deploying production systems\nStrong production experience with LangGraph, and hands on experience with LangChain\nExperience with LangSmith for tracing, evaluation or monitoring of LLM systems\nDeep understanding of agent design patterns, including tool use, memory handling and graph orchestration\nStrong backend experience building services in Node.js and Express\nExperience implementing RAG pipelines in production with embeddings and vector databases\nPractical knowledge of prompt design, structured outputs and evaluation frameworks\nExperience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic or similar LLM providers into structured agent pipelines\nAvailability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Philippine time Nice to have\nPython for AI experimentation, evaluation or model workflows\nExperience deploying AI systems on AWS, GCP or Azure\nExperience with user behavioural data and recommendation systems\nExperience building AI for health, nutrition or wellness products\nExperience designing systems that handle sensitive personal data\nFamiliarity with AI safety, guardrails and responsible AI practice\nExperience building multi agent or hybrid deterministic plus LLM systems\nExperience in fast moving startup environments\nBenefits You will be engaged by Offshore 24/7.
