You’ll be available for some weekend work and work during the Holidays, as part of supporting a high-profile client to activate during this pivotal festive period. \nWhat You’ll Do: \nDriving proactive media relations, including developing media lists, pitching stories, following up with journalists and securing coverage. \nSupporting the execution of consumer PR campaigns, activations, and announcements.\nManaging day-to-day account activity, including timelines, status reports, coverage reports, and client communications.\nBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and other relevant media contacts.\nIdentifying timely news hooks and opportunities to generate coverage for clients.\nProviding hands-on support to the wider team and confidently managing competing deadlines.\nSupporting out-of-hours media requests and PR activity across the Christmas period. \nAbout You: \nYou’re proactive, solutions-focused and enjoy making things happen. You’re equally comfortable picking up the phone to a journalist, pitching a story, managing account deliverables, or jumping in wherever the team needs you. \nWhat You'll Bring: \nExperience in a PR agency environment, with a strong grounding in consumer media relations. \nExcellent writing, pitching, and communication skills.\nStrong account management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.\nA proactive, can-do attitude and the confidence to work autonomously.\nThe ability to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. \nAvailability: \nThis freelance opportunity requires full-time availability from November 2026 through to 26 December 2026, including availability to support media and client needs outside standard office hours. \nWeekend work will be required on a roster rather than every weekend. Availability across the weekend of 19-20 December is essential. You’ll also need to be available to support any media or client requirements after the office closes for the Christmas break, through to Boxing Day (26 December).
