This could be the role for you!\nAn opportunity has arisen in our Marketing team who play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by strategically positioning and promoting our innovative FISH and NGS products across research, clinical, and pharma markets.\nAs a Product Manager for NGS at OGT, your primary responsibility is to drive the success of our Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) product portfolio. You will join our NGS Product Management team who are entrusted with overseeing the entire lifecycle of our NGS products, from conception through to launch and ongoing optimization. Your role involves understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to develop and execute strategic product plans.\nYour duties will include:\nConduct comprehensive market research and analysis to gather the voice of the customer, identifying key needs, pain points, and market trends\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development (NPD) ideation, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements\nDevelop robust business cases for new product initiatives, including market opportunity assessment, financial projections, and risk analysis\nLead the product launch process, coordinating activities across marketing, sales, operations, and support functions to ensure a successful market introduction\nDevelop and execute strategic plans for product commercialization, including pricing strategies, distribution channels, and promotional tactics\nOversee the development of global marketing campaigns to effectively position and promote products in target markets\nDefine product positioning, messaging, and value propositions based on customer insights and competitive analysis\nCollaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement tools, training materials, and collateral to support product selling efforts\nMonitor product performance and customer feedback post-launch, iterating on strategies and tactics to optimize product success\nAct as a subject matter expert for the product portfolio, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, features, and user experience based on market feedback and technological advancements\nEstablish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and partners to stay informed about market dynamics and emerging opportunities.\nWhat we’re looking for in you:\nEssential\nDegree level education in a molecular biology discipline\nPrevious experience in a commercial (sales or marketing) role in Life Sciences, Genomics, or in vitro diagnostics\nKnowledge of NGS, ideally in a clinical setting\nComprehensive knowledge and keen interest in developing applications, new technology and uptake in clinical and diagnostic applications\nStrong analytical skills\nCustomer-focused\nAble to travel for up to 20% of their working time, including internationally.\nDesirable\nExperience in clinical cytogenetics, molecular genetics, or cancer genetics\n1-2 years lab experience in NGS\nProven track record of success in growing or supporting sales in clinical molecular genetics, diagnostics, or cancer genetics markets, including managing relationships with key customers/opinion leaders in their field\nA successful track record in product
