This position will support the Firm’s California offices and work closely with our centralized accounting team in Chicago, attorneys, staff, and vendors to ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely.\nThe ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nAccurately enter, code, and process vendor invoices for multiple office locations\nServe as a primary accounting contact for the Firm’s California offices\nPrepare and process daily check runs and other vendor payments\nReconcile vendor accounts and research and resolve discrepancies\nReview invoices for appropriate supporting documentation and approvals\nRespond promptly and professionally to inquiries from vendors, attorneys, and firm personnel\nAssist with vendor account maintenance and other accounts payable functions\nMaintain accurate and organized accounting records\nAssist with special accounting projects and other duties as assigned\nRequirements\nQualifications\nAt least two years of accounts payable or accounting experience\nPrior law firm or professional services experience preferred\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work effectively with attorneys, staff, vendors, and members of the accounting team\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion\nDependable, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities\nWhy Join O’Hagan Meyer?\nCollaborative and supportive professional environment\nOpportunity to work with a growing national law firm\nOpportunities for professional growth and development\nCompetitive compensation and benefits package\nO’Hagan Meyer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
