The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax laws, and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.\nRequirements\n3+ years of experience in payroll administration with expertise in multi-state payroll, including knowledge of California and New York employment laws.\nStrong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG, Paycom, etc.) and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.\nDeep understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, with particular emphasis on California and New York payroll and employment regulations.\nExperience with payroll tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2, W-3, 941, 940, etc.).\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing large amounts of data.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively address employee inquiries and resolve issues.\nAbility to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.\nCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field is required.\nSalary Range: $70,000 - $90,000\nO'Hagan Meyer participates in E-Verify.\nO’Hagan Meyer is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
