OHB

OHB is a European space and technology group headquartered in Bremen, Germany, that develops and builds satellites and complete space systems, supplies components for launcher programmes and operates satellite systems. Controlled by the Fuchs family since 1981, the listed group has built navigation satellites for the Galileo programme along with weather, Earth observation and reconnaissance spacecraft, and employs over 3,000 people at sites including Munich, Mainz, Augsburg, Gilching and Brno. It hires spacecraft design, avionics, embedded software and radar subsystem engineers, product assurance and AIT team leads, Earth observation project managers and dual study students.

At OHB, we take on some of the most exciting challenges in the space industry. We work across a wide spectrum of spacecraft missions - from single satellites to entire constellations, from LEO to interplanetary exploration, supporting customers in Defence, Science, and beyond. In our Spacecraft Operations Development team, we want to shape the operational concept from day one.

We collaborate closely with customers, write the user manuals for the satellites we deliver, develop the flight procedures that will guide operations in orbit, and support the mission from separation through handover - and often long after. We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced Spacecraft Operations Engineer who’s ready to jump in, get up to speed quickly, and contribute from proposals all the way through Phase E. If you have hands-on experience creating and validating procedures, if you’ve been part of LEOP and commissioning campaigns, and if you’re excited about influencing earlier mission phases to enable simple, reliable, and robust operations for our customers - we’d love to meet you.

This is your opportunity to leave a meaningful mark on space.
