This role bridges classroom learning with real-world application in a supervised healthcare environment. The intern observes, practices, and performs entry-level coding functions under direct supervision, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, coding guidelines, and regulatory requirements.\nThe Outpatient Coding Student Intern serves in a variety of functional areas within the department and assists with special projects as assigned by the manager.\nMinimum Qualifications\nFor Hire:\nStudents enrolled in OSU programs leading to a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or Health Information Systems.
