Ultimately, your dedication to these responsibilities will directly fuel our client retention, drive new business development, and enhance the overall reputation of OHM Advisors as we work together to advance communities.\nYour Responsibilities\nClient Representation:\nFunction as a liaison between the field services construction group and the other disciplines at OHM Advisors.\nAttend all meetings during the construction phase.\nBe the day-to-day construction representative for the client.\nEffectively communicate construction issues, providing alternatives, solutions, and recommendations to the Project Manager and/or the client. \nBe integral to OHM business development and client satisfaction.\nUnderstand OHM services and how they relate to the clients.\nProject Oversight & Administration.\nProvide project logging for the preliminary design phase.\nEnforce and administer the compliance of construction contracts in accordance with project plans and specifications for CIP, ODOT/LAP, and Private Projects. \nClosing out of Public and Private Projects, ensuring all documents, final inspections, and estimates are complete before recommending final acceptance.\nProvide constructability QA/QC reviews of preliminary designs. \nProvide \"as built\" plans of the completed project.\nStaff Management:\nManage staff and sub-consultants during the construction phases.\nIdentify necessary required staff resources and work with the Construction Manager in the hiring process,\nProvide coaching and training of staff.\nPerform annual performance reviews for direct reports.\nApprove daily reports, timesheets, and personal time off and any expenses for direct reports.\nAssure that direct reports have the tools and training to effectively perform their job. \nRequirements\nEducation, Experience, & Licensure:\nBachelor's degree or better in civil engineering or related field.\n10 years or more experience in water main, sanitary sewer, road, pathways, and stormwater systems.\nWorking knowledge of established construction practices, procedures and techniques as well as applicable local, state and federal delivery requirements.\nState of Ohio PE license is preferred but NOT required.\nODOT prequalification as a CEI or CEII preferred.\nTechnical Skills:\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS programs.\nPositive attitude, eagerness to continue to grow both personally and professionally with our Construction team in Northern Ohio.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
