Whether you're launching your career or building on early design experience, you'll receive mentorship, hands-on project experience, and opportunities to expand your technical expertise while contributing to projects that make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.\nYour Responsibilities\nDevelop plumbing and fire protection system layouts and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.\nAssist with plumbing fixture counts, pipe sizing, and other design calculations.\nCoordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and civil disciplines.\nSupport the preparation of project specifications, reports, and other technical documentation.\nParticipate in project coordination meetings with internal teams and clients.\nAssist with construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and participating in site visits.\nApply plumbing codes, building codes, and OHM design standards throughout the design process.\nContinue developing technical knowledge through mentorship, training, and hands-on project experience.\nRequirements\nAssociate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience in drafting, CAD, engineering technology, construction technology, or a related field.\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering or engineering technology discipline is preferred.\n0-3 years of experience in plumbing, MEP, building systems design, drafting (internship, co-op, vocational, or professional experience is welcomed).\nExperience with Revit is required. AutoCAD, Bluebeam or other CAD/BIM software, is a plus\nBasic understanding of plumbing systems, construction drawings, or building design principles.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary project teams.\nA desire to learn, grow, and build a career in MEP design.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
