This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support the continued growth and development of communities across Alabama and the Gulf Coast region.\nYou will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and experienced civil engineering staff across OHM Advisors while playing a key role in project delivery, technical leadership, and mentorship of emerging engineers. This position offers strong opportunity for continued professional growth while contributing to impactful infrastructure and development projects across our Alabama markets.\nYour Responsibilities\nLead the design and delivery of site development and municipal infrastructure projects, including grading, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway improvements. \nServe as Engineer of Record and ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and permitting requirements.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams across OHM Advisors to support successful project delivery.\nInteract with clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.\nSupport project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.\nAssist with preparation of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.\nContribute to a collaborative team environment focused on technical excellence and continued growth.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. \nLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Alabama, or ability to obtain Alabama licensure within 6 months.\n10+ years of civil engineering experience, with a focus on site development and/or municipal infrastructure.\nProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Alabama permitting processes.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.\nInterest in contributing to the continued growth of OHM Advisors’ presence in Huntsville, Mobile, and surrounding regions.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
