As a Project Engineer, you will directly contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex water resource challenges.\nYour Responsibilities\nYour role will include project engineering, design, planning, operational support with a focus on the process engineering aspects of water treatment and drinking water projects.\nWork on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and prepare cost estimates for water projects.\nAdhere to budget, schedule, contractual obligations and quality standards. Participate in developing budgets and schedules.\nPrepare technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables; perform data entry and analysis.\nAssist with the construction management phase on water projects including site visits, submittal reviews, and regular interaction with contractors. \nAssist with equipment startup, controls coordination, and system testing. Perform operational analysis and troubleshooting.\nSupervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments. \nAssist with training of new graduate engineers and interns.\nRequirements\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license required in one or more of the following states: Michigan, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, or Ohio.\nExperience includes water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution projects, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning\n8-12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a focus on water distribution and treatment systems.\nExperience in planning, design and construction of water treatment facilities.\nApplication of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative technique\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nProficiency in Bluebeam for design and submittal markup.\nProficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant design software.\nExperience with project management principles and practices.\nExperience with wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment is a plus, but not a requirement.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
