We create places for communities of people that help solve a problem and drive them forward- advancing the whole community today and well into the future.\nWhat You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors\nAs a Site Design Project Engineer, you will lead civil engineering design for new construction and redevelopment projects, serving private-sector clients in residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Working closely with Project Managers, you will help develop scopes of services that align with client needs and guide technical design from concept through construction. Your expertise and collaborative approach will support high-quality deliverables, strong client relationships, and solutions that Advance Communities.\nYour Responsibilities\nLead civil site design for private development projects, from conceptual planning through construction.\nPartner with Project Managers to define design tasks, schedules, and budgets.\nPrepare engineering plans, calculations, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.\nDesign grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and other site improvements.\nApply development regulations and accessibility standards, and support permitting and project approvals.\nCollaborate with clients, multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and regulatory agencies.\nMentor engineers and design technicians, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth.\nFacilitate QA/QC reviews to ensure accurate and complete project deliverables.\nProvide construction support through site visits, submittal reviews, and responses to RFIs.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.\nOver 5 years of site design or land development experience, including private residential, commercial, or industrial projects.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\nProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.\nExperience with grading, stormwater management, utilities, and construction documents.\nKnowledge of development regulations, permitting processes, and accessibility standards.\nStrong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with the ability to guide design staff and meet project schedules and budgets.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
