They oversee all aspects of projects, from preliminary engineering to construction, including design, documentation, cost estimation, and QA/QC. This candidate will be collaborating with engineers, planners, technicians, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Required experience includes established career in Civil Engineering with diverse project scope and expertise in relevant design areas.\nYour Responsibilities\nProject Leadership/Management:\nLead multi-disciplinary teams on transportation projects.\nDevelop and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.\nOversee project quality and deliverables.\nMentor and support entry-level staff.\nManage project task budgets, work plans, sub-consultants, and schedules.\nSolve challenging problems and advance client goals.\nTeam Management & Communication:\nEnsure work is completed as planned and scheduled.\nInitiate and maintain communication with key project individuals.\nLead development of graphic design packages, proposals, and presentations.\nDocument and present work clearly and concisely to team and clients.\nTechnical Expertise:\nDesign infrastructure, prepare construction documents, and conduct cost estimating.\nMaintain team standards and procedures, check calculations, and conduct QA/QC.\nSupport project planning and funding processes.\nWorking use of OpenRoads Designer.\nMust have an understanding of state ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications.\nRequirements\nEducation, Experience, & Licensure:\nRegistered as a Professional Engineer.\nExperience in business development, marketing, and sales skills.\nUnderstanding of ODOT Project Development Processes (Design criteria, standards, and specifications).\nExperience working on ODOT, ODOT LAP, and/or municipal roadway projects. \nExperience working with ODOT and Communities, such as Cost and Scheduling Engineers, County Highway Engineers, City Managers, DPW, and City/Village Councils. \nExperience with Open Roads Designer/MicroStation/Geopak/AutoTurn.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
