In this role, you will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and build strong client relationships while keeping people at the center of every decision. A background in structural engineering is preferred, as your technical insight into buildings, bridges, and other structures will help you anticipate challenges, communicate confidently with designers and clients, and deliver reliable, high-quality results. If you are an organized, collaborative leader who is driven to advance communities, we invite you to join our team.\nYour Responsibilities\nManaging multi-disciplinary engineering projects and engineers, including structural engineering staff.\nDeveloping and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.\nProject management of structural projects, both vertical and horizontal, including building design, bridge and culvert design, structural rehabilitation/replacement, pedestrian/bicycle bridges and other unique structures.\nUnderstanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs.\nUnderstanding building code design criteria, standards, and specifications.\nRequirements\nEducation, Experience, & Licensure:\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.\nMichigan Professional Engineering License.\n5-10 years of project management experience; structural engineering background preferred.\nExperience with AutoCAD and Revit a plus.\nTechnical Skills:\nThe desire and ability to build strong client relationships.\nAbility to train and mentor entry-level engineers and interns.\nWorking knowledge of structural engineering codes and industry standards.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
