Working closely with Principals and production staff, you will help develop scopes of services that align with client needs and guide technical design from concept through construction. Your expertise and collaborative approach will support high-quality deliverables, strong client relationships, and solutions that Advance Communities.\nYour Responsibilities\nTechnical Oversight\nManage multiple site design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\nReview the work of site design engineers, designers and technicians, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to best practices.\nIdentify and resolve technical challenges that arise during the design process.\nProject Management\nManage site development projects, overseeing scope, budgets, schedules, staffing, and deliverables.\nServe as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and communicating project progress.\nGuide site feasibility evaluations and address design, infrastructure, and permitting challenges.\nOversee civil site design, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and site access.\nLead QA/QC reviews to ensure accurate, complete, and coordinated project deliverables.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.\nDevelop proposals and support business development efforts to grow private development opportunities.\nOversee construction-phase services, including site visits, submittal reviews, and responses to RFIs.\nStaff Management & Mentorship\nProvide guidance to site design staff, supporting professional growth and quality work.\nProvide site design leadership through all project phases, including design and technical construction documentation.\nWork with discipline leadership to staff projects and monitor utilization levels.\nCollaborate with Principals and geographic leadership to manage, mentor, and guide team members to ensure successful project delivery.\nCollaborate with other discipline leaders to develop best practices and advance the Site Design practice.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.\n15-20 years of progressive site design or land development experience, including private development projects.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license.\nProven experience managing project teams, client relationships, budgets, and schedules.\nStrong technical knowledge of grading, stormwater management, utilities, and construction documents.\nKnowledge of development regulations, permitting processes, and accessibility standards.\nWorking knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and stormwater modeling software.\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with experience preparing proposals and supporting business development.\nBenefits\nAt OHM Advisors, our people are our greatest asset.
