You will actively populate and maintain governance artifacts, leveraging modern tooling and AI-assisted solutions to reflect the current state of our platform.\n\nSupport client implementations:\nAct as a subject matter expert in data governance during client implementations and discovery phases. You’ll help ensure data structures and flows are scalable, transparent, and well-governed, while engaging directly with clients on topics such as data lineage, lifecycle management, and data quality.\nContribute to our data platform:\nAs part of the Data team, you’ll contribute to the development of our data lake, expanding data products, and unlocking new data sources. You’ll help deliver high-quality, near real-time data while maintaining consistency across the platform.\nStrengthen data modeling and stewardship:\nYou’ll facilitate data stewardship practices, identify and resolve data modeling challenges, and improve data ownership, definitions, and consistency across teams.\nCollaborate on internal data initiatives:\nWork closely with cross-functional teams on key initiatives such as business key standardization, code table harmonization, data modeling governance, and API design consistency.\nAbout You\nExperienceYou have 2+years' experience with data governance,data management, ordata architecture in afinancial institution or similarly complex environment\nYou have proficiency in Dutch and English\nYou understand concepts such as data lineage,data lifecycle management, anddata quality frameworks\nYou have experience working in cross-functional environments with both business and engineering stakeholders\nTechnical SkillsYou have a strong technical affinity and are able to work hands-on with data systems and codebases\nYou have strong skills in Python,SQL, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and cloud development (AWS)Experience with Django and Apache Airflow is a plus\n\nYou have experience with data platforms,metadata management, or data modeling\nYou have an interest in or experience with AI-assisted development or automation\nPersonal ProfileYou are able to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution\nYou area strongcommunicator who can engage both technical teams andbusiness stakeholders, and you are willing to work from our office and occasionally travel to client locations\nYou are proactive and structured, with a focus on driving tangible improvements\nYou are comfortable operating in an evolving environment where priorities may shift\nWhy us?\nYou will be part of the Ohpen Data team, a talented and diverse group of professionals building the next generation of our data platform.
