The Technical Support Engineer 2 will offer comprehensive technical assistance, which includes managing, maintaining, and optimizing critical functional areas, such as applications, tools, and hardware resources.\nPrimary Tasks:\n1. Applies company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.\n2. Follows industry best practices and standard operating procedures to analyze and troubleshoot incidents and service requests.\n3. Contributes to and follows detailed instructions for defined processes on most work.\n4. Collaborates with cross-functional technical resources to complete project tasks and provide day-to-day support.\n5. Build stable working relationships with internal stakeholders. Leverages influence to advocate for stakeholder needs.\n6. Build, deploy, and maintain applications, patches, security fixes, automation, and support tools to the Choctaw Nation environment.\n7. Create and maintain knowledge base articles to aid in problem resolution.\n8. Provide intermediate troubleshooting across stage, test, and production environments.\n9. Provide intermediate technical support to internal stakeholders escalating work to internal IT teams when necessary.\n10. Other duties may be assigned by management.\nRequirements:\nAssociate's degree in computer science or equivalent education, relevant certifications, or 2 years related work experience.\nIntermediate experience supporting various operating systems.\nIntermediate experience supporting desktop and server environments.\nIntermediate experience creating automation for installations, configuration changes, and system management.\nIntermediate experience troubleshooting pre-deployment and post go-live issues.\nAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.\nTwo years of related work experience\n 1.
