Oilserv Limited was incorporated in 1992 and commenced operations in 1995.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Procurement Specialist\n\nLocation: Port Harcourt - Rivers\n\nJob Summary\n\nTo support the Project Supply Chain Manager in the effective management of Procurement policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of company Procurement objectives for the AKK indirect project procurement activities.\nTo procure Project indirect and Minor procurement requested materials for the AKK project.\n\nJob Details\n\nProject Functions:\n\nAnalyzing industry and demand trends\nPrepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.\nCreation of Purchase orders on project Local and foreign procurement, as well as for corporate procurements.\nResearching and identifying prospective suppliers of assigned categories for both foreign and local suppliers\nFollow up with the clearing and expediting officer to ensure that PAAR is secured before consignments get to Nigeria.\nDevelop and manage frame agreements with suppliers.\nWorking with Quality Assurance for inspection upon delivery to ensure orders are filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.\nFollow up on suppliers for delivery of materials in accordance with the agreed lead time.\nLiaise with Expeditors and maintain execution tracking sheet for every material and service requested\nProcure as directed, all Project indirect and minor procurement requested materials.\nPrepare and issue purchase orders and agreements through SAP.\nEnsure a Due Diligence report is conducted for all vendors before the decision to place PO is made.\nFollow up with the clearing and expediting officer to ensure that Form M is processed timely.\nEnsures all established procurements packages requiring Supply Chain Governance Board (SCGB) approval are reviewed and timely submitted to the Secretary.\nPrepare and maintain proper reports on local and foreign procurement activities (electronically) on both projects and corporate procurements and ensure submission on or before Friday of each concluding week.\nEnsure supplier scorecards and assessment reports are prepared and updated for Oilserv-approved suppliers\nDemonstrate significant cost-saving initiatives to manage and reduce supply chain and logistics operational costs.\nLiaise with the Finance Manager, Supply Chain Managers, and Banks in establishing letters of credit when required for transactions and ensure that the required lead time (as stated in the LC) is not exceeded.\nDevelop an expedited sheet for every project's local and foreign procurement as well as corporate procurements.\nCollate generated procurement documents and adequately file them in a systematic manner that will permit easy traceability.\nTo utilize the potential of a price database and benchmark quotations to identify opportunities for cost savings, and standardization of goods and services in tandem with the procurement strategy.\nProvide procurement support for Oilserv Bids/ Tenders,and when necessary, participate in bid/ Tender reviews and evaluations.\nConstantly monitor the market price of materials in order to facilitate efficient review of price.\nProcess PRs as assigned, verify prices, ensure the right specification is made, call for quotes, and analyse quotes using GEP, as well as obtain all relevant approvals prior to ordering in SAP.\nLiaise with the clearing and expediting officer in tracking all foreign procured items is properlytracked and ensure all documents are available for the smooth clearing of the consignments.\nEnsure all commercial activity is fully aligned with Oilserv commercial strategies and tail spend activities.\nAny other duty as may be assigned by the Project Supply Chain Manager.\nMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.\n\nRequirements\n\nBachelor’s Degree (Engineering, Management or Social
