The role involves designing and implementing secure API solutions managing the API lifecycle ensuring operational efficiency and providing support and training to internal teams. The ideal person should have hands-on experience with API development security best practices performance optimization and Apigee platform operations.\nThe role is based on-site in Riyadh - so we are optimising for candidates within Saudi Arabia.What Youll DoAPI Development & Lifecycle Management\n\n Develop operate and maintain APIs using the Apigee API Management platform.\nDesign and implement new API interfaces following industry best practices for security performance and scalability.\nManage the entire API lifecycle including design development versioning updates and decommissioning based on business requirements.\nEnsure API security through authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 JWT API Key validation and Mutual TLS.\nOptimize API performance by implementing caching rate limiting and traffic management policies.\n Operations & Maintenance\nMonitor maintain and troubleshoot API services to ensure high availability and performance.\nApply periodic updates and improvements to enhance reliability security and operational efficiency.\nFix technical issues and performance bottlenecks ensuring smooth API operations.\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and internal governance policies for API development and operations.\n Support & Training\nProvide support to internal developers and API users troubleshooting issues and offering guidance.\nTrain technical teams on how to use manage and troubleshoot Apigee APIs effectively.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align API strategies with business needs.\nCreate and maintain API documentation including specifications use cases and troubleshooting guides. What You Have - 5 years of experience in API development with at least 3 years working with Google Apigee.\n Strong understanding of RESTful API design API security best practices and microservices architecture.\n Expertise in Apigee API policies including request transformation security enforcement and traffic management.\n Hands-on experience with OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect JWT API Key authentication and Mutual TLS.\n Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines API testing and automation tools such as Postman Terraform Jenkins or GitHub Actions.\n Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in API performance tuning and debugging What We Offer An international workforce to learn from and grow with we have a diverse multicultural workforce with Nordic values\nA fair compensation package and a considerable annual leave of 25 days per annum.
