quality objectives while balancing consumer safety, product performance, business needs, and cost considerations.\nSupport quality activities for new product development, product changes, packaging initiatives, process improvements, and ongoing manufacturing operations.\nParticipate as the Quality representative on assigned cross-functional project teams, ensuring quality requirements and risks are appropriately identified and addressed.\nTroubleshoot new and existing products and processes, communicate identified quality risks, and resolve quality concerns independently or in collaboration with cross-functional partners.\nPerform statistical analysis to support troubleshooting, product and process qualification, equipment qualification, and continuous improvement activities.\nDevelop and implement Quality Control Plans for new product development, packaging initiatives, product changes, and manufacturing processes.\nDefine inspection and testing protocols for OTC, cosmetic, and adhesive products using established sampling methodologies, product requirements, and quality standards.\nIdentify additional inspection or testing requirements necessary to mitigate specific risks related to consumer safety, product performance, packaging, labeling, and overall product quality.\nSupport assigned supplier quality programs, including supplier nonconformance, supplier qualification, supplier change control, supplier notification of change, and supplier performance monitoring.\nConduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with established quality requirements.\nReview supplier corrective-action responses and support follow-up activities to verify appropriate closure.\nConduct artwork proofing and packaging or labeling reviews to verify accuracy and compliance with established requirements.\nSupport nonconformance, customer complaint, supplier issue, and process-failure investigations.\nApply established root cause analysis and corrective-action methodologies to resolve assigned quality concerns.\nPrioritize assigned projects and responsibilities based on business needs, product risk, and resource availability.\nCommunicate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, timely escalation, and transparency.\nEvaluate and balance consumer safety, product quality, regulatory requirements, cost, efficiency, and product performance when making recommendations.\nDevelop and revise clear procedures, work instructions, test methods, specifications, and technical documentation for operators, technicians, engineers, and external partners.\nSpecify appropriate tools, gauges, and equipment required for inspection and testing activities.\nConduct Gage R&R studies and other measurement system evaluations as needed.\nMaintain and update quality tracking systems, supplier scorecards, performance metrics, and related reports.\nAnalyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.\nParticipate in and support continuous improvement initiatives that improve product quality, process performance, operational efficiency, and reliability.\nSupport internal, external, supplier, and regulatory audits as requested.\nSupport training and implementation of quality procedures, tools, and established best practices.\nOther job duties as assigned. \nUp to 30% travel\nWhat you bring to the table:\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Chemistry, Science, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nFive or more years of quality experience in a manufacturing, product, or supplier-quality environment.\nExperience supporting new product development, product or process qualification, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience developing Quality Control Plans, inspection strategies, testing requirements, or quality procedures.\nExperience applying statistical analysis and quality engineering techniques to solve technical problems.\nExperience working within ISO 9001, GMP, or another established quality management system preferred.\nExperience within consumer products, adhesives, chemicals, OTC products, cosmetics, packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment preferred.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.\nASQ Certified Quality Engineer certification preferred.\nSupplier auditing or quality auditing experience preferred.\nSpecific Skills:\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.\nWorking knowledge of quality systems, supplier quality, inspection methodologies, and manufacturing quality processes.\nWorking knowledge of quality engineering tools such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, process capability, sampling methodologies, measurement systems analysis, and Gage R&R.\nAbility to interpret and analyze product, process, supplier, and quality performance data.\nAbility to identify quality risks and make sound recommendations using established standards and methodologies.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly to employees, cross-functional partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders.\nStrong technical writing and documentation skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across functions and build positive working relationships.\nAbility to independently manage assigned projects and responsibilities with limited supervision.\nStrong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and consumer safety.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and applicable quality or data-tracking
